| The Mask is an excellent overture for middle school or small high school bands. Only the first clarinet part crosses the break, trumpet high note- "F#", all parts doubled or cued. From the opening rich chordal structure of this modal composition to the lyrical middle section, students will be energized by rehearsing and performing "The Mask". |
