The flowing opening section which requires careful attention to dynamics, phrasing and intonation, leads into an exciting 7/4 introduction to the dance section. The dance section is very playable by younger bands. Ranges are limited and repetitive rhythm patterns will be quickly mastered by students. Students and audiences will be energized by "Prelude and Tribal Dance".
