February March is an excellent choice for festival or concert performance. This spirited concert march contains a wealth of valuable teaching material for young bands. All sections get an opportunity to play the melody complete with march style articulations and dynamic expressions that are clearly marked in the score. Instrument ranges are well suited for 2nd - 3rd year performers and the orchestration helps to ensure that this piece will work for bands with limited instrumentation. The opening features a solo snare drum and solo flute (or piccolo). Trumpets are featured in the interlude section which is based on a bugle call and the rousing conclusion will leave your audience whistling the tune to this memorable march.
