Zig-Zagging Around
Zig-Zagging Around |
Jerry Frazier |
Grade Beginning Band |
Zig-Zagging around is a good study for practicing fingering patterns. Most melodies tend to be follow scale patterns, but Zig-Zagging bounces around. All parts move in less predictable ways making Zig-Zagging good finger practice for students. Ranges and rhythms are limited, and much doubling is present. The snare part include flams and eighth notes.
