Sleighs, Horses and Bells arranged by Bill Simon is a great little duo of familiar winter songs that are not specifically "Christmas." Combining "Over the River and Through the Woods" with "Jingle Bells" works very nicely. It is also possible to play each of the songs on their own, with or without the transitioning music. Very playable with the mix of abilities a community band comprises. These are great for use in some of our venues with shorter attention-span audiences or as an in-between choice among longer numbers. It's a great seasonal medley that can be used from Thanksgiving through the first snow fall and well into those cold January and February days. A great companion piece to the beloved "Sleigh Ride."
