O Come, O Come Immanuel

O Come, O Come, Immanuel is a Christian hymn for Advent. While it is most commonly known by that English title, it is in fact a translation of the original Latin - Veni, Veni, Emmanuel.  This setting for young bands captures the phrasing form as well as the modal feeling of the work. It has been set to a light Latin background giving the arrangement a solid harmonic and melodic feeling.  The ranges are modest, but the ending transition to F minor will require that students have a knowledge of that key signature. Students and audiences will enjoy this arrangement.
