We always like having pieces that feature certain sections of the band. This arrangement is perfect. It features every section and there is an opportunity for each and every section to stand up, play, and be recognized. The melodies are based on the Austrian folk song "The Orchestra Song". Tell your students that "Lieder" is the German word for song!
