The joyous and thrilling introduction section flows seamlessly into a powerful chorale section and ends with a spirited reiteration of the main theme. There are no tempo changes and the piece constantly builds in both dynamics and energy. 
Although rated as a grade 3 selection, the ranges of "Jubilation" make the piece accessible to younger bands that have a full instrumentation.

Jubilation

Very fun piece to play and has some challenging rhythms and melodies that move through all sections of the band. Great energy from beginning to end even in the softer mid-section. (Was that "Where are You Christmas" theme intentional?) I won't have to push my students to practice this one. Thanks.

Love the excitement this piece generates. All instruments have interesting parts. Lots of off beat rhythmic patterns and dynamic contrast. After a dramatic opening and a melodic middle section, the piece builds to an exciting finale.
