This arrangement of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" allows students to explore variations without actually having different movements. There are different moods and tempos that will make the music varied and interesting for the  band and the audience alike. The melody is passed around so that all have a chance to shine. A few sixteenth notes appear in the melody toward the end, but the ranges are simple enough that students should master them quickly.
