The children love this one. Very descriptive I am told by one of my Concert Band members!

I have a small band (14 students) in a small, rural town. I bought this for my beginning band - a group of students that never practices and has about an octave under their belt. This song offers a great opportunity for low brass/winds to exert a little independence, a chance for everyone to experience eighth notes, and a fun, minor melody. My students LOVE it!

My beginning band loves it already, nice unison, tongue slur tongue tongue for 8th note pattern , slow practice on that measure is the biggest challenge for saxophone one measure alternation for low brass, percussion has a set of 16th notes, all even rhythm's. I'm using it for Spring with an ocean/fish/nautical theme for the program. I like it a lot. Thanks!
