When your group is ready for more transparency and independent playing , Casbah is a strong selection to consider.  All sections are featured and the students will enjoy the unusual Arabian scales.  Also, you can introduce key changes with this work. An easy one at that.  Use loosely tuned drums for a dramatic effect and finger cymbals if you have them. If not, a triangle can work. You will have people wanting to get up and belly dance while your band is playing..  Enjoy Casbah.
