From the mysterious flute solo at the beginning to the exciting conclusion, students and audiences will be enthralled by this sparkling new composition by Tom Tucker.  The pulsating 15/8 rhythm (4/4 + 7/8) along with interesting melodic patterns will challenge students.  As with all Eastern European folk style dance music, there are repetitive phrases which once mastered allows students to focus on style.  Bucharest is playable by solid high school groups.
