Jumping Jacks will give your students a good deal of practice in 6/8 meter.  Practice slowly using 6 beats per measure and gradually work up to performing in 2 beats per bar.  Ranges of "Jumping Jacks"  are limited and the composition is ideal for  re-enforcing 6/8 meter. Students will retain what they learn easily.  The piece ends with a round of "Row Row Row Your Boat".  Do have fun with "Jumping Jacks".
